Not sure how many of you follow action sports, but I thought this was insane. I was in college when Pastrana pulled the double backflip at XGames. Now they're attempting a triple. The size of the ramp and the height is amazing.

    Thought I would share.

Thats crazy... I raced MX for a lot of years when I was younger up until the early 2000's, never had the nuts to try any of the crazy free style stuff but would go to the FMX shows. I still remember when Carey Heart went for the back flip and broke his leg.

Pastrana was an enigma. Had so much talent on a motorcycle. He was my favorite back when he still raced the AMA circuit. I watched him destroy his front wheel at the Red Bud national in probably 2002 over jumping "Laroccos" leap. He was the only guy in the field on a 125 making that huge up hill jump. Probably one 1/3 of the 250's attempted it.

Anyhow thanks for sharing brought back some good memories.

Pastrana doing the double was one of the best moments in sports history imo. I won't ever forget watching that. A triple would be insane.

I remember Pastrana doing the double. It made me want to go outside and attempt a jump on my dirt bike.

That was when the X games was huge, now it seems like it's every other week.

I was a bigger fan of XGames back in the day than I am now. 2006 was one of the best years. That, and when Tony Hawk hit the 900.

Hoffman's no handed 900 was pretty sweet too. Think that was 02 or 03. I couldn't even name a handful of competitors now though.

    I love the hyperbole

    "Revolutionary Moment!"

but really, that's pretty cool, although are they going to do it on the same size ramps as Pastrana and the double? Because if not, that doesn't seem as impressive...
