My buddy had a 2 pound mass removed from his shoulder today. For a 15 year old dog he did good. He is a sore puppy right now. I'm taking a day off from work tomorrow to help him in and out of the house. Rest and relaxation is what he needs now.

I hope that he makes a quick recovery. That looks like a painful incision.

I sure hope he'll be okay.

It's kind of strange that this post is on here today. My wife is actually at the vet right now dropping off our female lab, Madison, to have a tumor removed from her back between her hind legs.

I hope all goes well for Madison and your family. You stress over pets like they're children. My wife never had children so her pets ARE her children.

    Thanks.

My wife just called and said that Madison wasn't cooperative at all. Usually she's rearing to go when you grab a leash, but she knew something wasn't right when my wife put a leash on her alone.

My wife said from that point forward she had to almost drag her the whole way. Poor old girl. In her whole life she's never been away from us and the rest of the pack at the same time. Well, except for when we had her spayed as a pup.

Yeah, I understand that. When I took Bandit for surgery yesterday I took Zeus along for moral support. When we went in Bandit knew "something ain't right here". He'd never been away either. I could tell he was pissed at me when we picked him up. He's forgiven me now though.

Sending much puppy love and healing vibes. Hopefully he heals quickly, looks like it was painful.
