Last week I was able to make one of my dreams come true. I bought my first bass boat. I am almost 27 years old, have been reading bassmaster magazine since around 10 and drooling over all the boats and dreaming of tournament fishing. I have been out of the tournament world a few years now but finally have a career with both enough time and money to get back at it. And I was able to pick up a 2011 Stratos 294 xl Evolution with a 200hp Mercury 200 Pro XS last Wednesday to help fuel my fire to get back in the competition. Needs some upgrades and when my aluminum boat sells I will be able to take care of most of them, but isn't she purdy?!? Best part is its a 4 year old boat but only 35 hours on the outboard over 3000 RPMs, only 6 hours wide open. That's hard to beat in a boat her age. Come on open water!!!!!

You'll love it man! I bought my first real bass boat in '11, '03 Ranger with a 125 Merc, and have had an absolute blast with it.

The toys on it start to add up. And of course you have to fill all those rod lockers, and bait storage compartments up too!

Thank you everyone! Im working for the next 2 weeks, but when my 2 weeks off come up I should get some time on her finally, assuming we can get some ice to thaw lol. I was told yesterday there is still 28" on Lake Wallenpaupack where Ill be in 2 weeks, so I might need a drill not a boat lol.
