If it were to make humane they would let the victim or the victim's family pull the trigger. I don't think humane should apply the person that is being put down.

"Humane" is the least of my concerns when it comes to the death penalty. My preference is to spend the least amount of tax payer dollars possible when executing these criminals. I think a guillotine would do the trick. If you have done something bad enough to make it onto death row, I just don't feel like you are owed any type of humane treatment as you have already proven yourself to be less than human.

Seems to me that using a short rope and a tall tree is/was pretty cost effective....

As long as they don't suffer (because of the law) it is humane. I see no problem with firing squad. I suppose you could make the case hanging is inhumane but that is debatable.

If I were to go, a firing squad actually doesn’t sound half bad when compared to being strapped to a chair and fried or injected with drugs. But that is just me.

With the amount of tax payer dollars that go into our prison system especially for some of these people who have done terrible terrible things once a death row inmates last appeal is heard I think they should get it taken care of right then and there. Judge says no appeal so they take them out back and get it over with.

Money has nothing to do with the kill it's the cheapest part of the process. Personally firing squad, lethal injection, electric chair, hanging, stoning or any other method is fine. What we have to do is start doing more of it and faster more publicly cut the population of worthless thugs down quickly. That's just my opinion

I think it should be the other way around. Use the lethal injection if they run out of bullets.

    Lol!

I'm back in Utah now. Whew, I think chicagoland was killing me.
But, yeah, I'm available for the job. I can even bring my own bullets.

I am fine with it. In fact I would pay for the bullets if they shot child molesters.

What happened to the guillotine? I'm sure you could get a dozen or so chops before the blade would need sharpening...

I am all for the death penalty. When I was younger and had more testosterone flowing through my veins I didn't care if people being put to death suffered. These days I just want the sob's put down quickly.

My husband said he'd bring his own gun, bullets and list of condemned. How's that for volunteerism? ;)
