A high of 48 yesterday 74 today with rain and front coming through gonna have lows around 27 Friday night .. we have two seasons here in North GA hot and cold....
You have no idea what cold is in Northern Georgia, call us when you step outside and your face hurts.
I hear ya there!! It's 4 degrees right now but with the wind it feels like -16... But... THE 10 DAY FORECAST CALLS FOR 40'S AND MAYBE EVEN 50 NEXT WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time to bust out the shorts.
Been there done that have you forgotten I grew up in Traverse city Michigan? I have mentioned it at least a dozen times... and not referring to cold but the roller coaster weather we have here in late winter early spring.. 70 one day snow the next the 70 again and tornados,,lol it's crazy...
I am with you I woul really like to see four definable seasons, but you don't get them here... I will also say after living in the north and the south 30 and high humidity is a lot colder then 20 and low humidity in the north.. it's the old dry cold damp cold argument..
Traverse is great town, will be there again this summer camping. My sisters husband family is from Traverse, Hendges
I live in the Central Savannah River Area of GA. There were a few times this deer season that I hunted in shorts and a t-shirt. My hunting partner the first day of archery season was a cotton mouth. Turkey season is a couple weeks off, and I am debating a battery powered fan to go with my thermocell. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have hunted in camo shorts a t shirt down here before in a tree and in a ground blind. The deer didn't seem to care.. the worst part is getting them gutted and to a cooler fast when it is almost 90 degrees..
Still have family there as well as Gaylord , Lansing and Grand rapids.. My family used to own a chain of restaurants "The flap jack Shack" I think there are only two left one in Lansing and one in T.C the others were sold years ago and have since been closed or renamed.. Hedges does not ring but it's been a few years..lol
