I give you mark levin @ CPAC ‘It’s Time for a New Republican Party’: Radio Heavyweight Slams ‘Republican Establishment’ and Jeb Bush at CPAC He opened up the final day of the 2015 Conservative Political Action Conference, and he made darn sure everyone knew that’s what he was: conservative. “We are here not because we’re Republicans,” radio titan Mark Levin told the CPAC crowd on Saturday. “In fact many of us are here in spite of that fact.” Then Levin went after the “Republican establishment” and called out presidential contender Jeb Bush by name. “It’s time for a new Republican Party,” Levin said, appealing to the memory of Ronald Reagan as he called for conservatives to reject “crony capitalism” and pre-selected candidates. “Reagan was an outsider,” Levin said. ”In fact, Reagan was opposed by a prominent family that seeks to occupy the White House for a third time.” Continuing the not-so-veiled references to the Bush family as the audience booed, Levin said, ”The only dynasty I like is the Duck Dynasty.” When he hit the topic of “uninterrupted waves” of immigration, Levin called out the former governor of Florida by name. “This has never been the American experience. Immigration is to be managed, limited, gradual to allow for assimilation and Americanization,” Levin said. “You see, Mr. Bush, we love our country, too.” Levin’s jabs came at the tail end of a conference that included Laura Ingraham tearing into the Bush family, Bush’s name being booed by attendees and Bush’s appearance being marred by a walkout and rumors that he’d bussed in supporters to fill seats. I agree, I am sick of the sell out Republican Party, for the most part no better than the traitorous democraps.
I do believe we need a viable 3rd party, not candidates that don't get their own parties endorsement so they run on a independent platform.
he definitely has a mouth but he speaks the truth although you and others of your ilk choose not to listen you just mock...have you ever wondered why there are no liberal or progressive talk radio shows that make it? Not many if any because conservative values are closer to real American values..
I agree 100% but conservatives and libertarians should not have to compromise to appease the left or those on the very far right.. If you don't stand for principals you stand for nothing.. I will say one thing if JEB gets the nomination I might vote for Hillery [ I don't think she will run though]..lol
Sorry if I was too frank with Levin. I used to listen to him. Now I listen to him with the sound off. Bush ran this country into the toilet. Obama is the best president since Clinton. There is no way Obama can clean up the mess Bush left America in during the 8 years he is president. Levin spends his entire radio talk show putting Obama down yet he never offers any solutions. Obama is offering solutions. He is slowly turning this country around. The economy is roaring back after Bush ruined it.
Obama has treated the constitution like toilet paper, and his national approval rating is below 50%. You are one of the few people that have confidence that Obama is doing the right things for our country.
Understood. Something had to be done after Bush ruined the country. The Republicans were doing nothing. And they are still doing nothing. Even now the Republicans are trying to block everything Obama is trying to do for the country including keeping the Homeland Security running. Republicans are blocking that. Obama stepped up to the plate, took control and turned this country around.
what flavor cool aid are you drinking...The only reason the economy seem to be roaring and if you are basing that mainly on the record gains of the stock market is due to the fact that the FED has printed so much money to prop it up..and it will crash at some point. look up the Weimar Republic and see how that worked out... A lot of this mess did start with bush but obama has not tried to clean anything up if anything he has stepped on the gas and made things worse... I feel sorry for who ever the next prez is because a lot the stuff obama has done will not kick in till he is gone....it's gonna be one hell of a ride..
how anyone can say Obummer has turned things around boggles my mind!. does anyone even remember that the Dem's held both house and senate when Bush was Pres.?? the house and senate pass the bills right??
Okay. I will stop. Sorry to bother everyone with my thoughts. Carry on. I'll just lurk here from now on.
