What do you think? Stephen Jones denies knowledge of Dez Bryant 'incriminating video' Rumors Surfacing that There is a Video Out There of Dez Bryant Doing Something Really Bad | The Big Lead There's A Rumor About Some Sort Of Dez Bryant Video
innocent until proven guilty...... wait this is America guilty until proven innocent..lol I actually have not heard anything about this, but then again not a sports guy..
I listen to ESPN radio basically to and from work. A few of the guys on there have made passing statements about knowing the people who know things and that though they won't tell them what it is, there's very strong evidence and it's very bad. Also, that the cowboys are quietly trying to put the potential dumpster fire out before it cannot be contained. Unfortunately, I can't watch these videos at work but I will when I get home. I'm very curious to see what it says.
They say the video is so bad it’s “five times worse than the Ray Rice video and that his “football career is in jeopardy.”
If that's the case then it's a video of a murder. Not too many other things that could end someone's career. I've heard analysts say they've known about the video since September, so you'd think it would've been out by now. The fact that it hasn't been released tells me it's made up. But I could be wrong. Seems to be picking up steam so we should find out soon.
I've heard about "off field issues", but haven't heard about the video. Seems a little fishy to me. Hard to believe if there was such a devastating video out there it wouldn't have gone public yet. Unless the owner is taking offers for a big pay day.
Reportedly, Dez Bryant's legal team is trying to buy the tape to keep it from getting out. Also, the Cowboys reportedly have been reluctant to proceed with serious contract talks until this situation resolves.
Murder? Couldn't you get in serious Legal trouble for sitting on evidence/blackmail in a murder case? I doubt it's that. I just have a hard time believing the media knows something is going on, but isn't playing the story 24/7 and digging into what it actually is. Stories this big wouldn't go uncovered for months.
A fist fight (however bad) or drug abuse isn't even close to 5 times as bad as Ray Rice Story though. Weird wording for sure on all these "sources" claiming to know what's going on without knowing exactly what it is.
I think it's a fake report. But what would it take for a young, potentially great player to put his football career in jeopardy? The NFL has let guys back in that abused women, did drugs, killed someone while driving drunk, etc. There doesn't seem like there's much else left to do.
Adam Schefter has been working on this story since September, 2014. A guy like him wouldn't waste 6 months on nothing. There is too much smoke here for there to be no fire.
And still nothing? I just feel like nothing is kept secret that long... Especially if a video is truly out there and for sale. I don't even like Dez or the Cowboys either.
So as a sports writer he is purposefully sitting on the biggest NFL story of the year? I'm just skeptical is all. Def been wrong before.
When it comes to the NFL I think Schefter is as credible as they come for knowing what is going on. He says there is a lot involved with this story.
