So who does them and what do you do?

Maybe you think they are all psychosomatic?

    What are your thoughts?

(eg. Diet, Chiropractors, Marijuana, Homeopathy, etc)

I went to a whole foods diet at the beginning of the year and mostly eliminated sugars and corn syrup. I also set aside time to work out and SLEEP. I have lost about 20 pounds and feel better than I have for many, many years. I just had a complete blood profile done and everything has returned to absolutely perfect levels including my blood pressure with zero drugs. I have also quit snoring! I really think that the average American's diet is poisoning them. I knew it for a long time that I needed to change my diet, but its hard to make such a drastic lifestyle change. But, I don't see myself ever going back after enjoying the results.

Huh ...a holistic approach ... whodathunkit? Yes, Dave ...this is really the point of this thread .... Americans are taking pills and shots and hurting themselves more than helping themselves.

I am trying to talk myself into going to a chiropractor as well as what you are doing, tho I have noticed when I cut out processed flours, sugars and sweeteners, pains seem to go away ...skin seems to clear up

I work out some and stay active. I quit drinking soda in September and have lost 21 pounds. Between energy drinks, mountain dew, etc. I was taking in an extra 750 calories a day. I also have made it a habit to not eat for 12 hours straight.

I love my chiropractor. Good alignment/healthy spine are key to good health. I rehabbed back from a back car accident and although it took YEARS, I credit my chiropractor and holistic approach to my being able to walk today.

I have just recently started using DoTerra oils to help with medical issues. This after having the oils cure an out of control bronchial cough which no allergist or lung specialist could diagnose or help.

Now that the kids are gone my wife and I have been eating good. If it doesn't have roots or a mother we don't eat it. No processed/packaged food, no soda, no fast food, no junk food. Eating lots of baked fish and veggies. I wasn't fat before no real health issues. I would like to keep it that way.

Right, Spelt flour is an ancient grain that has not been changed by science (genetically modified) like wheat has been. They say wheat barely resembles what it's original state was, both nutritionally and physically

I had a pretty restricted diet over the past year due to another problem, so I got used to gluten free, dairy free, egg free, nut free, etc. I then was able to reintroduce them during trials. I felt no different without those foods as I did with them.

However, we do eat local produce and buy our beef locally. I also eat local honey to help with allergies.

Doing 2 tablespoons of honey in my smoothie every morning has cured my seasonal allergies...and they were terrible...I am a huge believer in local, raw honey.....so much so we sell it from the bakery and we have 2 hives

I think a clean diet shouldn't be thought of as an alternative... but that's another discussion all together.

Everyone should take control of their health... but that starts with what we eat and how often we exercise... It'd be amazing what disease states we wouldn't even have to remedy if everyone followed those two simple thought processes.

As for herbal type treatments and "eastern medicine" type treatments... I think by and large they are hogwash. Placebo effect. Dr. Oz is the biggest phony out there.

I know it helps me. If I am feeling extra bad I consult the Captain and he always seems to help me out.
