    When it comes to washing machines, I have a pretty fail proof method.

    1. Turn it on
    2. Give it a good wack
    3. Call somebody if step 2 doesn't work

    I whacked it good... several times lol

    I think the timer is jacked... need another beer to think about it

    I'm thinkin its the timer? It will wash but then just stops. So I can't even get the bastard to drain which is a PITA

    depending on what it is, almost cheaper to replace sometimes..

    Sounds like the timer or drain solenoid. If the cycle actually completes is say solenoid, else timer as you suspect.

    Ya I just put $150 in it about 9 mo ago and it looks like a new timer is almost that much again... Its a pretty dang old machine and I have certainly got my $$ out of it. I'm just a cheap ***. Guess I will prob suck it up and let the cook pick out a new one.

    we bought new Heavy duty H.E washer and dryer 4 years ago I think the were both total around $800 for the pair..
