The wife and I are seriously contemplating moving out of this liberal, taxed to death, frozen tundra state and these are the 3 states she is OK with moving to. So those that know, tell me all you know about the big game, small game, upland, predator, etc hunting in any of these states as well as fishing. I need to know which way to lead her :D
I think you need to take a serious look at Kentucky. Diverse game options along with fishing. Also its location makes it easy for you to travel to any of the surrounding states to hunt and fish as well.
You mean for buck size? I thought of that as well.... I can deal with that for a week here and there, but months? Na
Kentucky would be the best choice for deer hunting and parts of Kentucky offer really good land prices.
For buck size or deer hunting altogether? Does that make me a bad person? Hell, I'll prolly work at a tobacco company
Yeah well...if you want good hunting don't pick western nc. If I broke down the 3 it would be..western ky, western tn, and eastern nc. Then you can look mote specific from there.
TN is a great place. I love the mountains of east TN. Gun laws are good in TN. A lot like NC. We are looking to buy a home or cabin in TN one day in the feature.
Western KY. Big deer, Kentucky lake, decent land prices, and centrally located to have the opportunity to hunt several different states.
Tennessee is an awesome place yo live. Lots of deer. Unit L and A are the best. Anything west of Knoxville. East of Knoxville isn't too good. Sent from my XT830C
