Powerball is around a mere $500m tonight, with the one time payout somewhere around a paltry $350m. What's your game plan? Go. ~Bill
Lets start here - How many tickets do you buy? I always buy 2 tickets... $4 for a chance to win $350 million. 2 in 167 million chance to win 350 million for a measly $4 - sounds good to me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Too late for the big win but I'll keep playing. As far as the cost goes, I think $2 is some cheap daydreams. Buy early and get more for your money. I've actaully spent lots more money in one night and had nothing more than a hangover to show for it.
They say the odds of winning the lottery is about the same as getting struck by lightning, with my luck I would get struck twice before I would win the lottery.
Buy a ton of land. Travel. Volunteer Have some whiskey on ice. Probably open a sporting goods store somewhere but pay someone to run it.
Well, I was going to buy several thousand acres of farm land in Alberta, and hunt big bucks for the rest of my life, but I guess that's on hold for now. lol
$2 per drawing, times 2 drawings per week, times 52 weeks per year, times 5 years, equals a guarantee of winning a really nice new bow every 5 years by NOT pissing "only a couple of bucks" down your leg and sticking in a coffee can instead.
I guess I forgot to mention... I rarely buy lotto tickets. Probably spend less than $25 a year on lotto tickets.
Never buy them myself. Chances of winning are so remote, it's not worth throwing away my money. Also, even if you win, you still lose. Most big money winners wind up worse off than they started. I've worked to hard for what I have to risk losing it. Too much money too quick, especially that which you didn't earn, will ruin anybody. That being said, and no sarcasm here, if you like to play it, keep it up and good luck. V
That's the way I play too. If I happen to have a couple bucks of pocket change I might grab a lotto or scratch ticket and the way that the lottery was originally designed to be played imho. In my limited field of vision, I see what seems to be the people who can least afford it, spending the most on it. However, in the spirit of this thread, if I did happen to win, so would my church and a lot of local charities. I would keep enough for a comfortable but not extravagant living/retirement (which would include some nice hunting land) and the rest would be given away. You can't be corrupted by that which you don't have.
