Anyone still do this? I realize not everyone has Paypal although it seems to me if you are selling online you should.... Found a good deal on an item I have been shopping for but with very limited feedback on the seller and him requesting a MO just not sure I will be pulling the trigger... Thoughts? lol

TJ, I am pretty leery of this ...I would call the guy and speak with him in person. Also as for pictures but ask for one in certain way so you know it was taken at your request.
I did this on deal I was on the fence about and after talking to him I was comfortable enough to pull the trigger and it worked out fine.

Ya, but even I dont have alot of feedback on the site and I have bought and sold alot there. Hell I sold four items in the last 48 hours and probably have made 50+ transactions total in the last year. Haven't had any issues but I also have never sent nor requested a MO. Clearly with Paypal I feel somewhat protected making a purchase as I assume others do as well.

Not to mention it takes key strokes to use pay pal vs getting the MO going to the post office etc.

OT? lol I haven't. Sold a cat last week, yotes just aren't bringing enough here at the buyer. I have about a doz right now, I am tanning them all and selling finished. Isn't that much work and is far more profitable.

Off topic I know, but how much do you sell tanned yote hides for?

Anywhere between 60-120$ depending on the yote.

    What tan are you using?

I only have two yotes. I never did put out a line. (elk, mud, snow, lazy) I should get the $50 bounties on them and then get one tanned. The other one has a pretty good case of green belly, not slipping but still green. I skinned it out anyway. Maybe I'll make a coyote decoy with it. Or just take my $50 and toss it.

Myself, I wouldn't have a problem using a money order to buy. I've done it several times on AT and on other sites. I've sold a lot of stuff over the past year and probably half of the sells were money order and probably half of the stuff I've bought was with money order. There is a lot of people that don't have paypal or just don't like it and wont use it.

It's much better than the 7-10 the fur buyer is paying. Bad news in Russia an china have a lot of fur low
