Okay, time to brag about my daughter. She is the reason her dear old Pop purchased a used bow and will be practicing until archery season starts up this fall. SHE mentioned that she wanted to try deer hunting, but only with her bow! :nana::nana:

She said she might enjoy archery through 4H and since she is a south paw, we purchased a bow for her for Christmas 2013.

Here is a picture of her form, looking toward her target.

Here is a picture of the best group of the night for her.

The funniest part of the night was that our good friends kid (a Junior in High School) blew up a balloon that covered the entire yellow circle. He moved back to about 41 feet from the target and all 6 arrows were in the red all around the balloon. He said that with one arrow, the balloon was resting on it, so the pressure wave of the arrow coming in moved the balloon so it didn't pop. We kept telling our daughter to shoot from the 41 foot line (he had been at the 33 foot line all night), but she is so shy about her natural abilities she was embarrassed. Instead, she moved back to the 33 foot line (the first time for the night for her, she had been about 24 feet back) and on her first arrow, she popped the balloon.... and then with her sly **** eating grin, turned around and looked at us!

    Yepper, I'm a proud pappa!
