    I'm surprised to not see a thread started about this movie yet...

    Went yesterday to see it at the Alimo draft house with some friends from work. We all liked it a lot.

    Anyone else see it?

    When an actor loses himself in a role like Bradly Cooper did you know it's a good movie, even Chris Kyle's wife thought it was an amazing portrayal ..

    I've not seen it but intend to. I just read an article that said it pretty much grossly smashed the previous box office records bigtime.

    Since I've not seen it yet I may have the wrong impression but I have a feeling the public is sick to death of the anti-american leftist BS that 9/10 movies throw in your face anymore. The first time in a long time something that seems is quality and patriotic, it breaks records.

    I know I have stopped even going to a theater, I refuse to give the freaks in Hollywoody funds to spew any more leftist propaganda. If a studio will put out something that's pro-american and a quality story then I might rethink visiting a theater again, which may be the case with this movie.

    We went Friday night and the theatre was packed,even though it was being shown in 30 minute intervals on different screens.

    I loved the movie and what my family found amazing is how the theatre was silent and remained seated until the closing credits and pictures of the funeral were no longer being shown.

    There was a strange silence as we left the theatre.

    Ultimate sign of respect.

    How's that? They just showed pics of the funeral.(while the credits rolled)

    I think MOST Americans know he was killed.

    I won't reveal how for those that don't own a tv or watch the news.
