Coldest day of the year here in GA

    9.6 degrees now, And my thermostat decides to die.....lol

    Murphy's law at work....

    guess I need to head out asap and grab one...and hope that is the only problem

    I don't wanna hear it...lol

    Even if the heat was working they put heat pumps in homes down here pretty much useless when the temp get below freezing

    This is bout too cold for south Georgia! Can't complain though, wife's from Canada and her folks said it hit -46 yesterday

    It was -2 this morning. Our windchill is -20. Too cold.

    Pretty sad I have to wear my full long johns and insulated socks to work because they're too cheap to get heat in our front office. So I'm sitting here, freezing, yet again! I'm going to the dollar store at lunch and buying those cheap little gloves they sell.

    Yeah...I agree. I hate the cold, but I live in a snow belt. I'm used to it. But it isn't supposed to be cold in your work place!

    I hear ya, but my heat quit working last thing I need is busted pipes.. think I will go lay on my heated tile floor...lol

    my wife works in an insurance office full of men who don't believe in turning the heat up because they all wear suits.. I told her to put a little heater under her desk...

    30 here now got the heat back on , condensation line from humidifier was froze and couldn't drain so it filled the pan and tripped the system.. thawed out and re-ran it warming up nicely in the house now..
