I'd put a scope on it.

    You're welcome.

Redfield Revolution Accu-Range. Owned by Lupold. American made.

Put one on top of Remington .270. Shot one this year at "360 yds". Yeah couldn't believe it either.

    Damn good scope.

Great customer service. Had to call them because I had a brain fart and lost caps. Rep said they're on the way. NO CHARGE.

Love the scope. Really like the accu-range. Does all that's advertised. I'd buy another.

Seriously though, what are you looking for in a scope?

We use just about everything. From a $3000.00 leupold mark 4 ER/T, with M5 turrets and TMR reticle.... To a $90.00 Simmons whitetail classic.

I use the Simmons whitetail classic and a nikon prostaff the most. The Simmons is on my favorite AR and we have nikons on a. 270 and my 10/22 (and one other gun that I can't think of... Hmm) . Honestly, they are fine. The Simmons is ridiculously huge and works best at minimum power (6x) but if you want to examine a gnat's rear end at 200 yards you can dial it up to 20x. Clarity is good for the price.

The nikons are good all-purpose scopes. Tough enough. Clear enough. Eye relief is okay too.

We have ziess scopes that have better clarity and eye relief.

    I have a leupold vx 3L 4.5-14 on my .300 wm that I love.

The mark4 is on the .338 lapua.

Look at the zeiss terra. Good scopes that aren't too expensive.

There are some good sales out there now ...and I am sure after Christmas

I highly recommend vortex. Love my binos and will buy a scope for my 223 from them soon as well as a red dot for my shotgun!

Check out optics planet, they're having sales on some really good scopes.

    http://www.opticsplanet.com/riflescopes.html

I've got a nikon with the bdc on my 22-250 and like it alot. I'm not sure of model put think it's a prostaff, came on the rifle when bought it. I'm lookin to upgrade but only because I want one with turrets.
