I rarely do, it could be because I rarely have service where I hunt, and people normally text me if they need to. I usually respond quicker through texts.

Your a lucky man is that's all you have to be pissed off about. Turn your phone off if it bothers you that much....smile and be happy.

When I get in the stand safley I text my wife where I am at and turn it to silent or off.it just takes away from the whole reason I am there and that's to enjoy the woods.

It is 100% your fault, why would you possibly give the impression that you are available when you are hunting? Do not be a slave either hunt or play with a phone. Youngsters wonder why they can't shoot a big one yet they text and play games on your phone on the stand. Hunt or play grabass it is up to you. Get serious sugar tit ignore the phone. Sorry that was a bit harsh but seriously do you really need to be that available? You only have yourself to blame.

Phone goes on silent and in my pocket. Just because someone calls you, doesn't mean you have to answer! Leave it alone and enjoy nature! We have all gotten too dependent on our phones.

Maybe you should leave your phone at home and bring a dictionary to your stand with you

Having your phone with you while hunting sounds smart in case of emergency. But why are you answering the phone when you are supposed to be hunting?

I got a phone call when I was looking for work while on stand once. I had an interview right there in the tree and i was whispering. Luckily I knew the interviewer and he was a hunter so it was cool and we just ended up setting up a meeting. Been there 5 years.
