Watch the florida and eku game. #97 is my daughter's boyfriend on eku d line. Eku made their playoffs so he and some other starters probably won't play much.
I understand needing to try things if you're eku but this would be a 10-6 game instead of 17-3 if they were just playing straight up.
Do we have to go through this again. Once big 10 teams start beating ranked teams that finish inside the final 25 ranking at the end of the season , then We can talk about scheduling cupcakes. These sec easy games are the bye week warm ups for tough conference games this coming week. Really while I admit Michigan this season is an Anamoly as far as how bad it's been, the big 10 is more guilty then most for scheduling cupcakes. Although that worked out well in 07 with app. Didn't it
Blind hatred usually doesn't lead to very intelligent statements. Every major program has cupcakes on the schedule (it's how the smaller programs survive as an athletic department)... You get one marque non conference game a year for most programs.... and with them being scheduled 3-4 years in advance, it's hard to predict how good the team will really be (i.e. West Virginia sucking royally this year). It must kill you inside to see how good Bama Football and Kentucky Basketball have been the past 5 years. :D
It's not the cupcakes that's the issue, it's so late in the season. Kentucky Basketball is just sick right now, OMG
I'll give you the Georgia game but come on, the rest were the weakest in the SEC going up against the best in the ACC. None of them have a winning record in the SEC this year. And all the ACC teams were ranked.
Not quite. I'm far from a football fan but your post was quite rediculous. Lol The ACC wouldn't have faired as well against the best in the SEC like they did against the worst. Especially considering they put the best against the worst. I know it wasn't planned that way but that was the reality. Anyone would have said the ACC would be 3 and 1 at the very least going into those games.
Florida and UK are garbage this year (spoken as a UK fan at that) and they took the two best ACC teams to the final minute. Even with the 3-1 outlook today spoke more about the strength of the SEC than the strength of the ACC to me. I obviously have blinders on though. Blinders or not I don't see how anyone not named Oregon on a great night can knock off Bama a second time this year.... They are playing great right now.
My post was rediculous??? I simply stated a fact which was 100% true. You tried to add other meaning to my post...which I knew would happen
No argument here really. But I don't know about Liousville being one of the two best teams in the ACC and most of FSU's recent games have been close regardless of opponent. I can't believe they haven't lost? Bama might be the best team....but their defense allowed 628 yards to Auburn. They are far from unbeatable IMO
