Favorite holiday is Christmas. Favorite season? Fall/hunting season hands down. Sent from Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
Halloween for me. Changing of the seasons. Cooler temps. I dig Halloween. Most importantly game on for rut activity. 2 weeks of the best hunting to come.
Thanksgiving this year, both my kids home from college making loin medalions and donuts for breakfast.
Tie between two of the most humbling days for me: -Good Friday, it is the church service which humbles me the most and I love and hate at the same time the most. The pure definition of sacrifice laid out. -February 23, this is the day my brother whom only lived 6 hours was born and died. He would have been just shy of a year older than me and his death is the only reason I'm here (pops was set for the surgery till his death). Not a day goes by I don't think of him despite never meeting him.
National Unicorn day. I like unicorns. Not quite as deep and emotional as Tynimiller's post, but somebody had to follow that.
bahaha...I was typing it and was like...oh man hope this doesn't squelch the thread. First things that popped in my head though Fletch, what day is National Unicorn day?
Opening day of the NR duck season in ND...me, my son, my dad guarding a pothole on the prairies. That's good stuff. My kids birthdays are pretty good ones to...
It's kind of a secret society thing. If I told you, I would have to kill you. And I like you,........so, you just celebrate it whenever the mood strikes and maybe some day you will be contacted by a member with more information.
Imma have to go with Thanksgiving, it just rocks, followed by opening day of spring Turkey. Hard to beat that first pre sunrise gobble of the year!
