So AP is banned for the year. Will he play again? If so, when?

So the NFL bans AP for the rest of the year. Will they allow him back in next year? Will it be with Minnesota? How will this affect his image long term?

I think it's funny how we spent 6mil on him this year and he hardly played. I'm sure he will play again somewhere but I don't think it will be in MN

From what I read this ban is without pay. Just a tidbit

Patriots or Cowboys (yes because JJ is that dumb even with Murray) are my bet for his future.

I do think he would be playing this season if Goodell didnt F up the Ray Rice situation.

How would the Cowboys be dumb for signing AP? Murray has a history of not making it through a full season and it's AP!!

He will definitely be playing next year but I don't know with who. Seattle might be an option since Lynch will be gone.

Doesn't affect his image in my eyes... Who am I to comment on this, but I haven't read anything that lead me to believe he beat, physically injured, or abused the child. There's a fine line between abuse and spanking/punishing. It's a shame that someone lands in a situation as massive as this for something as minor as that, in my opinion. If I find otherwise, my opinion will change.

As to where he goes, dadgummed if I know. He'll go somewhere that needs him so badly they willing take the bad publicity with him.

Uh, I've never seen "punishment" that included bleeding, and welts on the legs and scrotum.....

Oh, and the kid is 4 years old, and ap is an nfl running back. Not exactly the size of your average soccer dad...

Yep, Goodell's chance to redeem himself. He'll be 30, not eligible to come back until April and set to make over 13 million next year, I cant imagine he'll be in purple again.

There's a chance he plays this year yet. We'll see how the appeal process goes

He may have a year or 2 left in him then slide into a backup type roll. 31 year old running backs are not too enticing.

He'll play next year but not in MN.
I hate that the NFL gets involved with what players do off the field.

I truly feel bad for the people who still feel he was "just spanking his son"... And feel even worse if those people have children.

The child is 4 years old and was beat so hard that he was bleeding from his legs and scrotum. Read that a few times over and let it sink in.. THE CHILD IS 4 YEARS OLD AND WAS BEAT SO HARD HE WAS BLEEDING FROM HIS LEGS AND SCROTUM.
