Is there really a purpose for it? What does it accomplish? I understand scrubbing some stains out of the bowl with a brush then flushing the vile down the drain. But what does "cleaner" really do? It's pretty darn clean after simply brushing. I don't see where there is any sanitizing going on. What are you sanitizing? The water in the bowl that is going to sea after you flush it the first time? No skid marks can be accomplished the same way with a brush. The cleaner does not aid in this process! Thoughts?
I guess it's for the real tough stains. Take some toilet bowl cleaner and squirt it on concrete, it will "etch" it.
"The works" is an absolute wondrous product when it comes to Rust and hard water and toilet bowls. You can literally squirt it on and walk away, who wants to deal with hand scrubbing a toilet when you can do it this way? The stuffs literally two dollars a bottle and last forever.
