Finally, this week I was able to button up a project I've been working on since Labor Day. Between general resort work, my Colorado trip, and this project I've only hunted whitetails once this Fall (opening night). I'm a good 12-14 hunts behind schedule. Well, now that this bedroom remodel is done I can get back in the woods Plus, we finally have a nice bedroom with closet space. Here's the before pics. We switched rooms. This one was the bunk room for when the owner's of the resort came up. I ended up tearing out 2 layers of carpet and a really old predecessor to vinyl flooring. Yes, that green carpet was the "newest" layer... I also gutted the interior wall and ceiling, and rewired the room. Now with new sheetrock (first time mudding, don't judge), whitewashed tongue & groove, painted trim and new laminate floor, she's all done. I even put in a new pocket door and reworked the closet space to add a linnen closet in the hall and a small closet in what's going to be the nursery.
When I moved up here I never thought I'd ever paint over T&G, but there's just soooo much of it here. The change is nice. Plus, it's a lot brighter of a room.
Next up is finishing the other closets and remodeling the room on the other side of the wall (where our bedroom was). But, I'm not starting all that until December sometime
Nice job fitz. I just finished redoing my daughter bathroom and putting new flooring down in the living room. I feel your pain.
