Yea that is a pretty good thumping. Heard some announcers talking about the pens/ducks game last night, saying the pens played such a great game, um since when is letting four goals in an having to score 6 to win a good game?
Wings looked good last night, even Howard for once. Only thing that looked bad is our giveaways, which we can blame on ericsson and quincey.
Think the give aways were not too bad except ericssons. Think kindl sucked though. He was just not making any good plays. Would much rather see oullet get a shot at playing over kindl. Other wise a good game, they outshot, out hit, and out skated Boston. That usually doesn't happen....
I couldn't believe how many shots they were taking....all I could think is, this isn't the same pass, pass, pass, pass, shoot team as last year. Didn't hear much about the Holland, Babcock argument on Ouellet. This is Ouellet's second season correct?
Yea this will be his 2nd full pro season. So he has time, but still think he would be a better choice over kindl. I think lashoff would develop more if he could get some steady playing time too. Got a lot of young guys that are going to be pushing for a job of not this year, next year, especially on the d side.
How bout those Blackhawks!! They looked awful till mid way the the 3rd! Happy there is a sport worth watching back on TV!!
Hawks looked terrible, but can get away with that once in a while. Wild really showed their talent in the playoffs last year. They will be tough. Go Hawks!
Kane won that one for the Blackhawks. His SO goal was a thing of beauty. How many moves were on that shot? My Pens won, but did it in Steelers style - trying hard to lose. I'll take it though. I can't see the Wild going all the way yet. A win over this Avs team is not that impressive. Glad a sport of men is now in our lives again.
