Favorite drinks for different occasions.

I'm new to the world of mixed drinks. What are a few of your favorites. Mine so far is a mojito. Took a mixology class not too long ago, so I'm starting to see this as cool.

 

Jameson on ice, good for any occasion

 

I don't always drink mixed drinks, but when I do... I drink Long Island iced tea... Stay thirsty my friend.

 

dr pepper and southern comfort. good all around drink. sweet and smokey taste.

 

Tom Collins. I also like Cognac!

 

My husband likes Tanquerey and tonic and the occasional Bloody Mary, but usually drinks beer. I stick to sake or Budweiser.

 

Good mixed drink is a blue motorcycle

 

A good single malt is always appropriate.....

 

I'm usually a beer guy but if I do a mixed drink usually grey goose and cranberry.

I like hot water mixed with coffee grounds.

 

This made me lol.

Whiskey sour is about the best mixed drink I can add to the thread based on my extremely limited experience, otherwise I'd be saying lemon or orange spice tea.

 

I might catch a lot of flack for this, but I'm a little bit of a fan of a tequila sunrise. They are more fun to make in front of someone who has never seen it done before than they are to drink, but they are pretty good. Never thought I was a fruity drink guy, but whatever.

 

Jack and coke is a classic. But I like margaritas. Blended.

I will always take a Bloody Mary or some Jameson whiskey on the rocks or with a splash of cranberry

 

Nice IPA beer at camp.
Good red wine at home.
Old fashion for cocktail.

One of my favorite drinks is a Moscow Mule with mint. I am more of a whiskey guy so I substitute the vodka for gentleman's jack and make a Kentucky Mule. Awesome drinks.
