So yesterday my wife and my mother both had their yearly exams. First my wife, shes 25 years old of pure beauty. Well during her exam, they found a small lump in her breast. They did an ultrasound and we wont know anything for a few days. They said its slightly concerning, but doubtful to be anything too serious....hopefully Then my mother comes in for her yearly mammogram and they found a lump that had grown "really large" in only a years time. She goes in on this coming tuesday for a biopsy and then its another week or so for the results. Im praying they both come back negative. My wife is far to young to be put through anymore than she is now. Her father is dying of liver cancer and my wife has cardiomyopothy, meaning her left ventrical heart tissue is slowly dying. She is under enough already Please keep them in your thoughts
My wife and I went through this with her now about 3 years ago (she was 23 at the time). Came back clear but has to keep an eye on it for size increase. Thoughts and prayers with you and your loved ones awaiting the results brother!
Knowing the unknown is the complete worst! Just keep optimistic and positive for everyone involved. I will be sending all my best wishes to everyone and hope that it is nothing to worry about.
I'm sorry to hear that. I know what you mean about can't get it out of your head. I went through it with my mom. Thoughts and prayers!
Good news, my wifes US came back today and everything is good. I forget what they said it was only that it was nothing to worry about. Now, hopefully my mothers checks out good next week after her biopsy.
Prayers for your wife and mother. My wife had a lump about 4 years ago too and after all the stress, it turned out to be only a lump with nothing significant to worry about. The way I stayed sane was knowing there was absolutely nothing I could do to change the outcome of the test. Try not to focus on all the could be's until you know for sure, then move forward. You can only make steps forward once you know the results. Prayers again and hopefully it all works out.
WHOA... just reading this post. Praying for your wife, her mom, you and all involved during this hectic time. Praying all will be negative and they will both remain healthy and full of life.
