I am looking at buying an Airstash so I can view my trail camera pics on our iPad and my Android phone. I know some of you guys have these (Fitz for shure)

Most cell phone chargers these days have a USB port on them now, can I plug an Airstash right into that USB port on the wall charger to charge it? I don't have a computer at the cabin and I'm just trying to think how I could charge the Airstash without a PC.

Below is what I am talking about the cell phone charger having an USB port

    Thanks for the input guys

theoretically, you should be able to do that. your mileage may vary though... obviously you'll test it beforehand though.

I assume you have power at the cabin, right?

if you have a modern vehicle with USB ports you should be able to charge it there also.

    this is another option also:

How long does the Airstash last on a single charge?

I am sure it vary's with what you are doing. I assume streaming a movie uses more battery that looking through pictures.

I used my iPhone charger and a second one I bought for a portable charger without issue.

As for battery life, I've never had it run out and there's not really a meter to indicate charge. I can't imagine the draw on it is very much, your phone is likely to die before the stash will.

Fitz may have a better idea, he's used it for several seasons

If you buy from amazon they have a 30 day return period if you don't like it.

I've never used it for streaming movies so can't comment on that feature

Edit, on second thought I did use video on trail cams and it worked fine. Just never for movies and such
