Really, you get heckled and flip off the redskins bench?

I also laughed when he was sacked and the skins defender did the money sign thing.

Sorry you manziel lovers out there...

He needs to be very careful. NFL players don't tolerate that kind of stuff. He will get decapitated.

I like it. The attitude of I'm 20-21 and not changing for anyone..... That is as long as his play elevates to the level of his ego as it did in college.

I can see where he is certainly easy to hate though.

I'm guessing the first few times he gets planted his attitude will change. Cleveland doesn't exactly have the team that's gonna protect a mobile qb so it's not if it's more when he gets blown up.

That and there's a few defenses in the league that are gonna be gunning for him to shut him up. Especially if he does that kind of stuff.

This isn't the first person to flip off a team/fans.

Defensive players will be gunning for him, which should be expected. But Manziel brings a lot of energy to the NFL. I'll be tuning in to see what happens next.

His skills which made him a dominate player in college just aren't going to translate 100% to the NFL level in my opinion. He seems to struggle throwing into tight windows and going through his progressions. There is also significant injury risk with his style of play. I'm not rooting against the guy...just my thoughts

I think it's funny that he gets so many people riled up. I don't know if he will ever amount to anything in the NFL but, he was sure fun to watch in college.

Long term I hope the guy is successful in the NFL, however last night I found myself hoping he was going to choke just so I could feel better about the Vikings not grabbing him and getting Bridgewater instead.

I feel pretty good today :-)

I tend to agree with this but as with Cam Newton... I tend to wait it out before writing him off. They had arguably the best two single seasons ever in college football... Hard to say definitively their rookie year that they will flop in NFL.

He's a rookie...on a bad team. I wonder how he would do on a team with a good O line? I agree his going to have to learn to get down when he runs, be a pocket passer a little more and run a little less or he wont last long. Flipping off the opposing teams bench wont help....

I think he should start week 1. He needs to be introduced to the Pittsburgh defense. Ohio State product Ryan Shazier played about a quarter and a half last week. He had 11 tackles and 1 interception. I would love to see him introduce himself to Jonny-come-lately.

The dude WILL BE TARGETED by defenses for sure and he has fed their fire in that they know now chirping is heard by him.....some guys are gonna chew him up and spit him out.
