Tonight my wife and I finally got a free weekend from the kids to go stay in a hotel and enjoy alone time. We'll that ended quickly.

I looked away from the road for a split second and rear ended someone. I can't remember much bit I think I was going 35 or 40 mph. Thank god no one was hurt.

I bought a 2010 chevy traverse exactly 2 weeks from tomorrow. Gonna be car shopping once again.[IMG]

That is exactly what I said. Ridiculous thing is that the person we hit actually graduated with my wife and moved to des moines.

It's a car and easily replaced. A life isnt. I freaked when I saw them pull their son out of the back seat.

Glad it was only the vehicles......i was worried when I opened the thread as I saw the picture before I read it.....things happen and this is the way you would want it to turn out every single time if it has to happen to you.....maybe im being a little nosey but will this affect anything with your job?

Just gotta be thrilled that nobody was hurt. Like you said earlier, vehicles can be replaced.

I'm just pissed because we got a great deal on the car with all the options. Took forever to find it. I woke up today with a very sore neck and shoulders. I believe I have a little whiplash. Should know Monday or Tuesday if it's totaled or not.

LOL!!!! You think so? I was thinking a little chicken wire, some sand paper, spray paint, duct tape, and a 12 pack would do the trick.

Holy crap man! Glad you are okay. If I had to venture a guess I would say it's definitely totaled. Air bags deployed and that's normally a sure bet.

Good luck getting things taken care of.
