Do You Raise The Toilet Seat When You Pee?

Simple question: do you put the toilet seat up when you take a leak?

There's a raging debate going in our office right now with 33% of surveyed males stating they DO NOT raise the toilet seat when peeing.

 

Public? No.

At home yes.

I don't touch any part of a public bathroom with my hands that I don't have to. :D

 

If I want to stay married I raise the seat up then put it back down.

 

This for sure. Public bathrooms can be a scary place.

At work, no. I use the urinal.
In public, no. Like Matt, I'm not touching anything in there.
At home, yes.

 

Yes i always raise the seat! Public restroom i use my foot to raise the seat!

Well at some point we all have to sit on the crapper so to speak, so out of sheer courtesy to others I defiantly lift the seat. I mean hey would you wanna sit in your team mates piss?

Oh and public bathrooms I use my foot, then when I get outside I wash my shoe off

 

BTW this has potential to be a great thread. I love this forum. C'mon everyone lets hear it. Eventually someone is gonna post their nastiest bathroom experience on this thread, of which will get one upped by a million.

 

People who don't raise the toilet seat when they pee should be subject to some form of public humiliation. It's just not right. Even in a public bathroom I use my foot to put it up and down.

To clarify, our office is 8 people strong with a very nicely, freshly remodeled bathroom. It's 10x nicer than my house so it's not exactly an airport or truck stop.

 

Only at home... But just stand closer, its shorter than you think.

 

I do but rarely ever use a toilet to take a leak, I live in the middle of nowhere USA and the closest neighbor is 3/4 of a mile away. Anyone else ever think that it just seems wrong to piss inside a house?

Public most of time yea, like others said though with my foot. Most of time there's a urinal so no seat

Clearly nobody. We're talking about a bathroom without a urinal.

The females in the office don't have to share that do they?

 

I answered for my husband. He always raises it and them puts it back down when he's finished. I don't know what he does in public.

 

Equal rights! They want to vote, they can share a bathroom with us.

 

As long as no one leaves a top shelfer......LOL!!!!

 

Eight men and women sharing one toilet will not work. I have a wife and two daughters and barely get by with four bathrooms.
