Many of you know my wife got an assistant womens basketball job at a DII school last year. My kids became very homesick and after the season, my wife left the school and brought the kids after only one year. It was the best move for our kids. She was crushed because her dream is to be a head coach of a DI school. She came back home and once again became a head high school basketball coach. Big time players began to show up and the roster was loaded for a run to the state title sometime in the near future. My wife thought she would never get a job in the college ranks again because she left after only one year.....not so fast. In the past two weeks two DI schools contacted her and interviews began....yesterday, out of nowhere she was hired as one of the top assistants at the Naval Academy! Long commute for her and her new job will cause me to have to adjust my work schedule. That will be rough since I have formed such tight bonds with my co-workers. But I will continue to support my wife as she attacks her dream. Go Navy!
And here I thought I was finally going to be able to sleep well after work now that the kids were back home. hahahaha. Not so fast.
Thanks all. Lots of stuff goin on around here. Moving back into our house in the next few weeks as well.
