When was the "Golden Age" in our History? Depending on what you believe the earth has been around for Billions or 6 to 7 thousand years. We live in some extraordinary times, we are all friends and a lot of us have never talked or seen one another.
That is a good question. I don't believe there was ever a "golden age", nor do I believe there ever will be. This world is nuts and everyone is forced to scramble for money and power. I suppose that is how it has always been.
I guess it just fits your definition of "Golden Age", but for man as a species, on a global scale, we are living in it right now.
Money, greed, war, death is and always will be the same forever there may be highs and lows in our personal lives but life has never been better then it is today.
The 60s.. I doubt Third World countries would call this the Golden Age. But if there was ever a Golden Age, this would be the time.
We have running water electricity and so many conveniences in life. People 300 years from now if this world survives climate change! Or if jesus doesnt come down! Will look back and think about how barbaric we lived and how their society is going to ****
Nope. I have no idea how my personal beliefs have anything to do with the "Golden Age" of mankind. But I'll answer your question. 1984. The year I was born. So there you have it everyone. The Golden Age for mankind was anything before 1984.
That would haveta be my answer if a belief in God being convenient needs to be the bemchmark. Sent from my SM-G900R4 using Tapatalk
Every period in history has its own unique challenges. In our countries history, I'd probably say the 80's and early 90's. Things were booming, people were doing well, at the expense of us today probably.
For me personally, it was before three years ago when my dads health went south. I've had good financial years since but that doesn't mean squat with mortal concerns about close family being a daily concern.
Mid 80s to early 90s. Reagan-Clinton. Pre 9-11. People had jobs. Middle class expanded. People weren't complete morons yet.
Think deeper Grasshopper. Of course that answer was before your time and you would not understand that either. Sometimes the answer is not as obvious as it should be and you have to look past the surface to see it. My original post was PERSONALLY meaning to me, (not necessarily to anyone else), the "golden age" was before God became inconvenient. Not specifically a year or era in history but when individuals still held the morality taught by God's laws closer to heart and were more dedicated to serving than being served. For you that would be 1984 because evidently you have never had faith. To me, as I see more and more people deciding that God is inconvenient for their lifestyle, it puts us in the waning years of the "golden age". To put it in a nutshell: The golden age of man can only be determined by each person's perception of life and the history thereof.
