The boards have been dead lately!

Anyone have any plans this weekend?

Hoping to get a blind out and check some cameras. Getting carpet in my house, too!

At his beach house there is a trail from the deck to the beach. It goes over three dunes and the sand is very soft and the older folks have a hard time walking out to the beach. So I'm going to build a wooden walkway from the deck to the top of the dunes to make it easier on them. Basically just 4x4 joists and 2x6 deck boards in 8' sections and connected with eye bolts and cables. That way the boardwalk can move as the dunes change over time.

Ruger - I have a few friends in that area. I'm close to Conneaut. Show horses in Ashtabula. We are actually thinking starting to look for some hunting land over there!

Boardwalk, beach. Oh, duh. Blonde moment I guess! I was thinking something else, lol. But how nice of you! Good reason to be at a beach with beer ;)

I had a battery of tests at the hospital today and wired up to a portable EKG machine right now. I've tried writing my two papers that are due on Friday, but cannot seem to get comfortable with all the wires and electrodes taped to my body and being connected to a device on the side. This holster is not coming off until tomorrow or Friday (whichever the doctor decides) and so I will be spending the weekend writing up a paper on Macroeconomics and how morality dictates service to others over service to self. I know, I know sounds like way too much fun.

IV - I hope your tests turn out okay! But macroeconomics - yuck! You can take both macro and micro. I did not like those classes!

-sniffles- quit bragging about your corn! It sounds so delicious right now!

I take it you ended up finding one on your shopping trip?

I doubt I could shoot a recurve. But, you got some time before your trip! You'll master it, I'm sure.

Ended up ordering one online. I'm sure you could shoot one, it's a challenge for sure! Been practicing pretty much everynight.

At least you are sticking with it! I tend to get frustrated and give up!

I really need to start practicing with my bow - this house has put that on hold!

Going to finally have a low key weekend between all of the traveling. Was at wine fest last weekend, 4th parties the weekend before, and Bermuda before that. Beach in two weeks, then Canada :)
