Where I work the deal is you bring in rolls for everyone for things like birthdays, big anniversaries, big purchases or sales, for getting hired, promoted, retired and various other things.

Today I brought my new guy rolls (8 weeks late) for everyone!

Any of you guys do cool things like this or any other kind of things to make the day go better at work?

In most cases this would not occur in my field of work, completely different circumstances.

    Enjoy em!

Working a doctors office, we get drug reps that drop by and bring goodies.

For my coworker's birthday I usually bring in a cake or cupcakes and she does the same.

My coworker is into baking, too, so at times she will bring in baked goods.

When I still worked in the office I would bring in deer sausage with some crackers and cheese. All the ladies in the office loved it. Plus when I would take off to go hunting they didn't mind because it meant that they would get more summer sausage.

Also we did potlucks for birthdays and special events. Some of those ladies could cook!

Can't be sure, but around here, rolls are donuts with a filling.

We usually do breakfast for birthdays. Egg casserole, some kind of sweet bread and fruit.

Occasionally on a random Friday I'll bring in a dozen donuts for my department just for the heck of it. I work for a big company but only 7 people in my dept.
