The wife and I just bought a shed. 14'x24' 2 story with a gambrel roof ...

Here is a pic of what it will kinda look like....insert an architectural roof instead of the metal and it will be close ...I will post pics as I ready the site and get it delivered and built..

Oh yeah, we will have an 8' opening with swing out doors instead of a garage door...wife's choice again....I empowered her to make it... ;)

So much for free will.

Actually, I agree with your wife's choice. A garage door on a shed like that just doesn't fit. It would be like having bright brass door fixtures on an outhouse. :D

It's funny you posted this...just today we had a small hunting cabin built. It's basically a shed but after we put in a few windows, finish the inside and put on a front porch it will look a lot more like a true cabin.

Now, don't be jealous, but check out this bad *** shed in my yard.

Yeah, we didn't buy the place for the buildings. This one is coming down this summer and a new garage/shed/pole shed is going in it's place.

Here is a picture of my new shed almost done.

Here it is done, or as done as it will get for a while until my cash gets built back up.

It is a great felling to have a place to put all my hunting stuff. :)

Nice Tony. Have to ask though, why did you opt for shingles instead of the metal roof?

The wife HATES the look of a metal roof ...she beat the guy up for the shingles...lol...I was already getting a screaming deal...she's hot ...she got away with it

That looks like about 90% of all the fancy places up in NW Wisconsin :)

This is where my dad and I keep all of our toys. Definitely some things that could be changed but it works well overall. Not a huge fan of the dirt floor but it does have cement in a small part where work benches/shelving is and a loft as well.

It's a 12x20. Our first goal is to add windows and finish the inside to make it more comfortable. Long term we plan on adding a 4 foot covered front porch and possibly a room addition on the left side.

I don't have much for pictures of our shed. But it is 16'x20' a overhead door. I had power run to it when we built it which is really nice. This was just as it was finished.
