I didn't watch any yet but here are my comments so far. Lefty with a +3 hole 7. Still at +3 at the turn. Adam Scott in the club house 1 back. I think he has my pick at this point. Jay Haas is the leader at -4. He will fold. Freddy Couples with a solid round of -1. Prob won't be there on Sunday but you never know. Nobody has had that great opening round. Lots of people all bunched up so far.
My favorite 4 days of the year!! Way too early to make anything out of it. Freddy always throws a bone for the first couple days lol. Would be awesome to see him there on Sunday. Scott is impressive coming out with that round being the defending champion. Lefty won't be close. ... doesn't have all his game at the same time and will get hurt. Should be fun to watch unfold!
Boring field this year with Tiger out and Lefty playing horribly. I'll still watch sunday if there is a close pairing at the top. Hoping for Adam Scott to win.
I haven't watched The Masters since Tiger made that amazing chip in back in 2005. I've lost interest in watching golf anymore. I'd like to see a golfer above all the rest so I have someone to root for and Tiger will never get back to being that golfer. McIlroy shows flashes of being the best but no where near what Tiger was back in the day.
Nothing really changed since I posted before other than Louie is up there 1 back as well. I would love Louie to win as well.
I don't really have a pick to win it, just a group of players that I'd like to see win. I'd really like to see Stricker or Snedeker win. I wouldn't mind seeing Rory or Spieth or Bubba win as well.
Bubba Watson is on absolute fire right now... Hope he can keep it going and not unravel... 5 birdies in a row?!
Should be a great final round!! I dont' know if the kid can hang on, but its remarkable to watch what a first timer is doing at Agusta. Those greens are absolutely insane right now. Anybody under par has a chance really. I'd love to see Kuchar or Spieth win it. I'm a huge Freddy Couples fan, but he just runs out of gas on the weekends. Lee Westwood lurking behind the scenes is interesting too. He could make some noise if his short game doesnt fail him.... again.
Idk Couples has started off pretty strong, seems like he always lurks around in this tournament though. Should be a good final day.
Couples has a great swing and I love to watch him play but he's been running or of gas on Sundays the past few years... Bubba has his work cut out for him today, but should finish near the top. The Great thing about Sundays in August a are they are exciting.
I do not know of there is any player more cool, calm and collective than Miguel Angel Jiminez. He is one of my favorite players to watch, and always seems to be in the hunt in the majors on Sunday.
