Not a New York fan but I'm a Jeter fan. Last home opener today.

Him and his unorthodox swing will be missed for sure.

hit's it the other way every time. Age has caught up to him, but wow what a team leader...."The Captain"!!!! He will be missed. However, as a Yankee fan, I have been missing him for about 5 years now, he is just not the same.

I agree. Not a Yankee fan but Jeter is a class act and a true professional.

Thanks for the memories DJ. I would have to say the best role model and class act/professional in all of sports.... ever. The guy did it all the right way for many years. Yankee nation will miss #2.

We went to the louisville bat factory/museum last year and they had several mlb players bats and they said that Jeter was still using the same bat style, size and weight that he came up through the minors with.
