Who do you think is going #1? Will Houston take Manziel? I watched the kid on his pro day today and he looked sharp. Came out in helmet and pads and lit it up. They let Shaub go and signed Fitzpatrick for backup money which makes a person think they are taking a quarterback. Or will they take Clowney? He's a freak no doubt to be as big as he is and that fast.
So what do you think, who's going #1?

I'm really not sure. The easy choice would be to pick a QB, but I'm not sure if O'Brien wants to. I think he's confident that he could find a QB in the later rounds that will be just as good.

All I care about is for the Cowboys to pick Donald at 16 (if he makes it that far) and have solid draft. They have 11 picks so they need to load up on the lines and at depth in other areas.

It's a Vince Young type situation all over again. Do they take the risky quarterback or the defensive lineman? (Mario Williams ended up being the better pick in that case).

I'm interested to see who the Browns pick up. A qb seems most likely, but Sammy Watkins is BY FAR the fan favorite right now (team him up Josh Gordon for the next decade).

Also...id be very happy with either Eric Ebron, Calvin Pryor or CJ Mosley for the Packers in the first round.

I'm hoping Clowney falls to #2 and the Rams trade back a few spots..maybe ATL????

Sammy Watkins at 6 may be a pipe dream however. With Long and Quinn they don't NEED Clowney. If Houston takes him though I imagine the Rams will grab Robinson at 2 and then either a safety or receiver at 13.

I think Houston goes with the safe pick, Teddy Bridgewater.

No doubt that Manziel would put butts in seats if Houston takes him being a texas boy...and they need a QB. Maybe they could take Bortles but I don't think so? I don't think Houston will take Clowney, I think he falls to Jacksonville. I think STL will take a OT at 2 as they really don't need a pass rusher and need some help in the O line.

Manziel is a gamer. His arm and accuracy is under rated. I see him as a star at the next level, at least early on...

Financially, Houston would be dumb to not take Johnny Football.

I agree. I think he has more talent than Russell Wilson and he has turned out ok.

I mean everyone glowed over Cam Newton, and Manziel basically shattered everything he did as a redshirt Freshman. I see both being successful in this new offensively oriented league.

Seahawks make seem better than he is, BUT he is still a very good QB.

No doubt! Time will tell what happens when its all put on his shoulders. If that defense gets wreaked with injury or pulled apart by free agency and teams start throwing up 30+ points a game can Wilson rise to the challenge?

I think Manziel can be better than Wilson...key word there is CAN. I think his biggest problem will be keeping his head out of his arse.

Agreed, but I think it's overblown in his case cause that statement can/should be applied to 90% of pro athletes.

Manziel definitely has punk tendencies, but I think it's more him being a 20 year old rockstar living it up and soaking in the college life. Time will tell if he matures.

Always been a fan of Manziel, i hope the Browns land him...but i dont think he will be available and if he is, the fans really want Watkins. Interesting draft for sure.

Watkins is the best pick IMO.

I see Manziel going to Jacksonville, Cleveland, or Minnesota.

Cleveland being the front runner... Browns OC Kyle Shanahan coached RG3 so there is a connection in the type of QB.

There is NO way Manziel is going #1 overall... It can't happen.

The Texans new coach Bill O'Brien track record of QBs has been pocket passers: Tom Brady, Matt McGloin and Christian Hackenberg.

It would be crazy if he did a complete 180 and took a shot on the mobile Manziel... Just doesn't seem like a logical fit for me.

Double post... It's funny how everyone is forgetting about Derek Carr.

Just read a quote from Jon Gruden after his pro day: "I think you could make a case for him going NUMBER 1 overall."
