    I quit over a year ago. Was tough, even tougher during hunting season. But I'm glad I did and so is my wife. In a weak moment a few months ago I grabbed a pinch of chaw from my buddy, less than ten minutes later I threw up.... Lol will never dip again in my life and I'm so glad I tried it again and got sick from it, haven't had a craving or thought about it since!

    I'm more concerned that it was common practice for females around you to dip back then.... Lol

    Quitting tobacco will be the single best decision you've ever made from a health, social, and financial standpoint.

    I chewed for over a year but quit about a year ago... If I chew now it is a pouch from one of my buddies.

    Every time I put a pouch in I get the hiccups for some reason.

    Quitting chewing was the best thing I've done in a while. It sucked, specially during hunting season or after a big meal. Sunflower seeds were my friend.

    For the Record. Women who chew absolutely disgust me.

    I have seen several girls chew. From what I have seen kids of college and highschool age today are trying to act "country" because its the new cool status.

    When I coached high school wrestling before practice after school I would see these kids show up in cowboy boots and flannel shirts and try to act like they were some kind of country hick even trying to talk like it. I was amazed at how many boys and girls I would see take a dip in their car before they go home to the subdivision they live in.
