We had drive your tractor to school day today and this is what happened! I think that's the end of that!
What caused the accident? Kids screwing around or because of the snow? My High School held our tractor day in the spring during the last week of school. The year my class graduated we had over 50 people drive tractors in - We never had an accident like that though!
Yes it was a tractor vs. car accident. Sorry I thought that I was logged in but my dad was logged in so this was supposed to be a thread started by me. Also I don't know what happened I walked outside and saw it, but the car was parked and nobody was in it so I'm guessing that the kid wasn't paying attention.
And who thought it was a good idea for kids to drive farm equipment to school? What farmer would even want to expose himself to that kind of liability? Crazy stuff.
that's awesome....drive your tractor to school day!!! nothing like that in the northeast, more like "bring your liberal parents to school to promote Obama care day!!"
People take it to the extremes at our school... Drive riding lawn mowers from 5-10 miles out... Hauling hay wagons with 20+ people in it... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We did it every year in HS, small town where I live most kids are driving tractors long before ever getting behind wheel of car.
Don't think we had anything like that, but I think it's pretty cool. Around here, most kids were driving tractors way before trucks. I wouldn't trade going to a small school for anything.
I can't grasp the fact that people go to schools with 1000 people per class... I graduated with 127 kids in my class and loved it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We had fewer than 100 in our graduating class, but we didnt drive tractors to school. I just cant see how anything good could ever come of that. Just think of the position that puts both the school and the farmer in if something bad happens. Pretty risky day of show and tell.
The kids aren't necessarily borrowing a tractor from a farmer... Their parents own and work on the farm and the parents allow it because they actually know how to use it/be responsible (In most cases). Our tractor day actually gathers a local news presence and everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
