I've seen football, baseball and the Olympics on here. Any NASCAR fans here excited for Sunday?

 

So pumped. Duels last night were really good especially the second one.

 

I am pumped!! I am a Kenseth fan and he looked pretty good!!

 

I read they were good races. I don't get fox sports 1. I'm a Jr fan.

I wasn't really a fan until I joined a fantasy league with a bunch of buddies....when there is a pay off on the line it gets pretty exciting

Huge DaleJr fan - watch every race, even watch races from the tree stand come early October.

I think Stewart, MattyK, Hamlin and Brad K going to be my favs for the win.

 

I think that as long as Jr makes a move before the last lap, it's his. He's been there the last couple of years. In either case, it's going to be a matter of timing.

 

Yeah he's always going to be in it at the super speedways, he just never seems to get the help he needs when he needs. Sometimes cars have trouble getting to his bumper to help him out - side drafts as good as anyone.

 

I think he just sucks, like his brother. How long has he gone between wins?

I just recently became a nascar fan... mostly due to the race pool at work... this week I'm pulling for Ambrose, Gilliland, Patrick, and Kyle Busch by luck of the draw.

Pretty sure I'm losing this week.

 

I love Nascar. Been to a few races. Only a couple hours from Talladega so we try to make the fall race. Ive been a Johnson fan since his rookie year. Cant wait to get going tomorrow!

 

You think he sucks?? Top 5 in points??

Maybe the equipment he is in?? I don't think he is one of the best 5 drivers in the sport - but to say he sucks is far out.

Maybe what sucks is he has more fans than anyone in the sport and doesn't have to win to keep them - that sucks!

But he doesn't suck. He can drive a race car. But he aint one of the best, not even close. But he doesn't crash people or himself often and he is a good dude - makes it easy to cheer for him.

I would watch it Sunday, but Paula Dean is having a book signing at the mall this weekend, and the first 10 guest in line, get a signed copy of her glazed ham and honey recipe, I hear its to die for!

 

Most popular? For one and only one reason. Let's not act like he's Jimmie Johnson now (btw...they drive the same exact cars).

Fwiw...I've been to NASCAR races. Spent a lot of time watching it in the past. Just not my cup of tea anymore.
