Has anybody ever taken one? I was reluctant to even post this here for awhile, but i consider some of you guys friends and certainly knowledgeable, and ill take any advice at this point. I have one tomorrow morning, as part of the hiring process for a job i want.
Nope, never had to do one prehire but... it is what it is. They will either thumbs up or thumbs down based on the results they decipher. It might be like a drug test and they are only after specific things. Overall.... I don't like em. Background check should suffice
Never have before. Just stay calm and answer every question with certainty. Good luck! Sent from my SCH-R970 using Tapatalk
Nope........never had to do one, thank god. An a similar note, I saw this the other day and thought it was pretty funny. Jimmy Kimmel Lie Detective #1 - YouTube
Yeah I have it was a bit nerve racking but it's not like it's going to kill you. For a job they can only ask you certain questions so I wouldn't worry about it.
yes I have. It is designed to look for changes in heart rate, perspiration, and breathing. Answer all the questions with the same pattern (i.e. before each answer take a deep breath and as you let it out, answer the question) all the way through from the first question to the last.
Stick a tack in the bottom of your shoe before going in. Keep pressing your foot into it until it's unbearable to get your heart rate, anxiety level, perspiration levels up as high as you can. Then just answer the questions without any spikes in any of your bodily functions.
No I haven't. i didn't realize they could be used for job interviews? I don't blame you for being nervious
I never have taken one... but my suggestion would be: relax, take your time, have fun and enjoy the experience. Oh... and no matter what... tell the truth.
