Wings fan as well. I am hoping for a good year this year. Put your chin up, pull your hat down, and be a cowboy.
Hawks fan here! Been playing since i was 10, 23 now. It is a great sport, Glad we get to watch a full season this year!
I'm married to a hawks fan unfortunately, but her dad gets us good tickets to blues/hawks games in st.louis, so I become a hawks fan one night a year. Hard to say no to free tickets, second row from the glass, with free food and alcohol all night. But in all reality I am a general hockey fan and give credit where it is due, hawks are good and gonna be tough again this year.

Hell i might even become a wings fan one night a year if it came with all that!!! Whats your thoughts on your guys move to the Atlantic confrence??
I like the early game times, but I'm gonna miss some of the rivalries like with the sharks and hawks. It is just hard to say how they will do playing east coast hockey, but the traveling will be better for them, more rest hopefully.
The kid has serious skill. He played soft down the stretch last year, either lingering effects from his concussion, or just adjusting to playing over here. His fast start last year led to some lofty expectations as well. For a team lacking a true sniper, he could potentially fill that void. Our 6 defenseman are legit. Excited to see how they play together for a full season.
They have the talent, and the coaching, they start out strong, and just cant close it out down the stretch. Im rooting for columbus this year on the back burner, think they may be a surprise team in the playoffs.
Lol, probably more then a few teams that were thinking the same thing, maybe they will help slow down Boston and Pittsburgh though.
