I know it's only Tuesday, but it was a Harpoon tasting night @ the 6 pack shop. Comments/critiques on my selection? The wild blue was chosen for a friend fyi.

Old Raspy is about as solid of a stout that you can find. Not a fan of the DFH Festina Peche. Jealous of that Bells Double Cream Stout.

Never had any of the others.

My weekend beer line-up will look something like this thanks to trial:

Southern Tier 2xIPA is good stuff. That almost made it in my line up. Thier 2Xmas was the best Christmas beer i've ever had. This was the 1st year they made one and they nailed it.

You folks don't know what beer is anymore. What's with stuff like the "Chocolate Stout". If I want a candy bar I'll eat one. LOL

    Good looking beer boys!!!
My line up looks exactly like Hookers!!! My work schedule is totally insane this week, well for the rest the month really....so no beer run for me this week lucky I stocked up already and I can enjoy a few this weekend.
Have a three new bows to tune and they are still boxed up after arriving on Monday...going to enjoy a couple this sat while I set them up and tune them and see what they can do....two have sent back out asap and ...one I got to see what I think of her.......Good beer will go nicely with weekends activities..

I've got a couple of the double cream stout's in the fridge still currently. It's pretty good stuff. I've also got one continental stout and a couple barleywine style ale's left. I haven't been to the store lately but I'm ready for some early spring seasonals to come out.

I'm gonna be drinking my regular Budweiser this weekend :tu: I'm not real adventurous when it comes to my beer. Unless someone has a suggestion for me, knowing I like Budweiser?

I tried a Summit Winter Ale a little over a week ago. Sucked !!!! Took 2 Miller Lites to get the rotten taste out of my mouth... then another 1/2 dozen to make sure the awful taste didn't come back. Sadly the fridge is out of Miller Lite and the company left crappy Busch Light in it's place. Bastards !!!!

Looking like a sober weekend coming up.

You guys can have your fancy beer. I am just not so-f-is-ti-ma-cated enough to drink the crap.

Batch 19 for me this weekend. Probably some Sam Adams Holiday Porter or Old Fezziwig, and can never go wrong with their chocolate bock.. by far my favorites out of the Adams winter classics.

Batch 19 is really good for a major brewery beer. I had some a couple years ago after a tour of the Miller/Coors Brewery in Golden, CO. Found out it was undergoing trials in a couple of locations. Bought up all they had left in the case (4 - 12 packs) and made sure I got to Chicago to buy some, and drank a few while in San Francisco on business. I was very happy to see them roll it out permanently.

It's decent, kinda a value stout to me...lacks a head, or i should say the head doesn't hold up well. All said its a good value for its price. Had it on tap and it big step up from the bottle.
    Glad you liked !
