As you know from my last thread, I am getting in to self filming. I think I've narrowed it down to 2 cameras. The Canon Hf R500 and the Sony HDR CX330. Has anyone had past experience with either of these cameras? Considering all things, which one would you take?

I'd go with Canon simply because of their amazing customer service. Plus I've used an HF R500, and while it wouldn't be my first choice, if I was limited to that budget, I'd take it over a Sony any day. Sony's warranty terms for labor are like 90 days, while Canon has them set for a year. Plus it has a bigger screen, higher maximum aperture, and a higher zoom than the Sony.
