My cousin works with someone who is selling a Sony PD150 video camera and was wondering if anyone has used this camera and could tell me what they think, what it's worth, or anything else I should know. Thanks!

Technology has flew past this camera. It's a standard definition which means its about 3 generations behind today's offerings. Also it uses tapes instead of solid state SD cards. Tapes are also a thing of the past. The honest answer is you can buy a cheap consumer grade HD camcorder and get better quality in a smaller form factor.

Thanks for the input. That's what I was thinking but wanted another opinion. Thanks again!
