    Thoughts on this camera? I'm not quite ready for an all out filming set up. I just want a good quality camera to get some pictures of my hunts. See the camera on Amazon here.

    I have the L810 which is very similar, are you looking to take mostly videos or pictures?

    Primarily just for pictures.

    I'm hoping to sort of document my hunting/scouting trips through pictures. Mostly pictures of the scenery, wildlife, and deer sign. I am interested in the video side too, but only to test the waters at first. I don't need it to produce entire hunts, but it would be nice to have short clips that aren't terrible quality.

    I like my camera but at the same time I don't. Overall it's a pretty good camera if you edit your pics later. The video is decent but not amazing. I'm not sure how different the L830 is.
