I noticed most of you are using smaller cams to film hunts.
I'm going to be using what I have on hand. That is my trusty old Sony EX3.
Yes I know she is big and heavier but she has never let me down. Especially in cold weather.
What I'm wondering is if there is a decently priced fluid head mount I can get for one of the "3rd arm" type camera mounts that will hold the weight of my camera?
Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Most of us use smaller cams because we can't afford the bigger ones ;) that think looks like a beast. I would look into manfrotto heads. I believe the 501 or 502 is the one that would fit you best

Well I was shooting indie film type stuff so took out a loan.
I'm not knocking the small cams at all. A lot of them shoot beautiful footage right out of the box.
Not only that but they are soooooooooooo light. If I had the dollars I'd be running out for one of those nice
    new tiny 4k cams!
    Thanks for the reply.
