I recently picked up a fluid head for my filming setup and was just wondering what advice some of you had. I've been playing around with it a little but haven't had it out in the woods yet, plan to this weekend. One thing I've noticed is it seems I have to have the knob for the vertical movements pretty tight to prevent drifting. I've tried about every position mounting the camera and hasn't seemed to help.

Like said didn't know if there was any advice some of you guys had to pass along. Maybe that would cut down on the experimenting ha.

BTW my set up is a muddy outfitter arm, vixia hf s21, and manfrotto mvh500ah. Thanks
