Just got back from Bermuda last week. Had an awesome time. Put together a little short video/slideshow of the trip. Was meant mostly for FB friends, but thought I would share it here, too.

    Blue water makes everyone happy!

would you consider yourself a cruise kinda guy or was this someone else's idea?

I hope I never get forced to go on one, but if I do I suspect I'll have a good time regardless. Because of my daughter's love for Disney princesses and my wife's love of blue water, I foresee a Disney cruise in my future...

Thanks, definitely one of our best trips yet.

Okie, I wouldn't say we're cruise people. We are sort of indifferent. We have been traveling a lot since our honeymoon 5 years ago. It's our goal to see as much of the Caribbean/Atlantic Islands as we can before kids come. We've done the Bahamas twice, DR (Punta Cana), Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Grand Turk, and now Bermuda. We had Bermuda as our choice before we decided on the cruise. It's a very expensive island (VERY) to stay on, and there's really only one "affordable" all inclusive. We had friends that wanted to go, however, and the cruise made it more affordable for everyone. We really wanted to go with them, so we thought what the heck. We did a cruise last year by ourselves and had fun, but this time is was a lot more fun with a group. We had 3 days on Bermuda and the rest at sea, but it was a great time overall.

I would probably feel different about a cruise if a group of couples were involved. That actually sounds fun! And you're doing it right trying to get it done before kids. I love mine dearly but they sure complicate traveling... :)

it sounds like with 3 days anchored at Bermuda it was probably a great, lesser-expensive way to see the island without the luxury taxes...

    so where next?

/saving for 'atlantis' trip with the family in a few years... there is enough there to occupy them for a few days while I chase bonefish... Right, Mon?!?

The canon, the gun, the underside of the bridge, the cool blue waters and massive ship.. Wow man you really did a great job on this adventure! The video and pics were very cool and looked like some neat shows also. I have never been there, thanks for taking the time, very cool.

Very cool. Looks like you had a great time.

Nice ship. The Breakaway is one of the ships we decorate for Christmas.
