Does anybody watch his videos on YouTube? I've started watching some and have got some great ideas. Right now I'm in the process of making a camera stabilizer and shotgun mic shock mount. Just seems like if your into making videos on a budget his DYI's are perfect. I'll post up pictures of the finished products. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have been watching his videos for a long time now. Didn't you see my camera stabilizer that I made at the gtg last year. I will try to find a picture but I followed his plan and it worked for my small handycam perfectly!
I can't find any pictures of it so I will have to do some searching for the stabilizer. Not sure what happened to it. I don't use it anymore since upgrading to my Canon XA10. The new camera won't fit on the stabilizer.
I wasn't at the GTG last year but I'll be sure to check it out. I'm custom fitting mine to fit my camera perfect. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ya I forgot you didn't attend last year. I think my stabilizer is up in Wisconsin at my cottage. I will look in a few days when I head up. Sent from my iPhone 5S using Tapatalk
Here is what I have so far, it's quite a bit smaller then the one the frugal filmmaker specs but I think It should work really good . I'll post up some more pics when it's completed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks good! I just took camo duct take and wrapped all the straight pieces of mine then spray painted all the corners flat black.

Here is what it looks like right now , still waiting on the tripod and video light. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I got some pictures to post up of Isaac's rig now that its completed. Were working on camera #2 right now.
I made the same rig now I think I am going to work on a slider. Just trying to figure out which one I want to model it after.
I made a slider a few months back, I'm pretty happy with it for the few times I've used it. I need to added some adjustable legs so I can steady it better. The original design had it mounted to a tripod but it had far too much flex when it reached the end of the slide due to the weight of the camera. I've added a few picks and some test footage I took late last year. DIY Slider made from hardwood and a 4ft towel rail. Another angle of the slider on our ugly kitchen bench. The camera is a Canon Legria(Vixia) HF G30. Test footage of the slider in action. Shot with the Canon Legria HF G30
